Overdue Alerts to Keep the Trains Running on Time

Getting back to people quickly is a key aspect of a running a high quality hiring process.

As your team grows, it gets harder and harder to keep up with time-sensitive tasks, and some candidates start to fall through the cracks. The JobScore Velocity Report helps by showing how long it’s taking you to complete each step of the hiring process. While analyzing the past is useful, we also want to make it easy for you to stay on top of things in the here and now.

The new Overdue After setting helps your team stay on time and on track by alerting you if a candidate is in a status longer than you want.

We’ve also made a few changes to the homepage to help your team collaborate and stay organized.

Thanks & Happy Hiring!

Overdue After & Overdue Alerts:

adding new job attribute

Overdue in Your Workflow

Each status in your workflow has a new attribute called “overdue after.” This determines how long a candidate can be in a status before they’re considered overdue.

The Clock Icon Means Overdue

When a candidate becomes overdue a clock icon appears next to the candidate’s name.

Click on the clock icon to glance at which job the candidate is being considered for, what status they’re in, and how many days the candidate is overdue.

The Overdue Report

The overdue report makes it easy to see if you are falling behind and to click into detailed lists of overdue candidates.

Recruiting leaders can filter the overdue report by user or department to see if the team is falling behind and swiftly take action to keep the process running smoothly.

The overdue report is available for employers on our premium and enterprise plans.

An Instant Service Level Agreement (SLA)

As you scale your recruiting organization it’s common for Hiring Managers, Recruiters, and Recruiting Coordinators to own different stages of your process. JobScore is designed for each workflow status to have a built in “to do” in the form of a next step that a specific person (the status owner) is responsible for – and to provide visibility into who owns how many candidates at each stage.

Only admins can edit the workflow, but everyone can quickly see how things are set up by clicking on the question mark icon next to Candidate Pipeline on their homepage:

The “Overdue after” setting transforms your workflow into a service level agreement where each status not only has a next step and an owner – but an agreed-to time frame in which the step should be completed. JobScore doesn’t just record this information, we surface it throughout the interface so everyone can see what is overdue and needs to be addressed.

Don’t like the idea of SLAs, due dates and shared accountability? No problem. Just remove the “Overdue After” date from each of your workflow statuses and all overdue alerts will disappear.

Today’s Tasks on the Homepage

We’ve added a new panel on the right side of the homepage that shows your recruiting tasks for the day.

This is particularly useful for enterprise customers who use our Google Calendar or Microsoft Exchange integration because it brings the scheduled phone screens & interviews for the day front and center.

View Another User’s Homepage

JobScore Admins can now toggle to see the homepage of other users in your company. To do this click on your name at the top of the homepage and then select a user from the list.

Reviewing someone else’s homepage is a great way to understand what’s going on with their jobs and how much work they have to do.

When you toggle the homepage all of the new links work, so you see what they see and can click into lists and work how they work.
