Candidate Self Scheduling Closed Beta

In the past few years it’s become commonplace for employers to share access to employee’s calendars and allow candidates to schedule their own interviews. We’ve seen many of you insert links from paid tools like Calendly into your email templates to do this. While this works, it requires compromises like:

  • Not including links to JobScore interview templates in calendar events
  • Not having interviews recorded in JobScore
  • Not updating the JobScore workflow to reflect that interviews were scheduled
  • An added cost paid to 3rd party vendors for every user

So, we’ve added the ability for candidates to schedule their own interviews through JobScore in the new user experience. Here’s how it works:

  1. You send the candidate a link by email through JobScore
  2. The candidate clicks to visit a secure, branded, JobScore-hosted page where they can see the interviewer’s free/busy
  3. The candidate selects a date and time

The candidate-facing scheduling experience includes your company logo and careers site branding. When a candidate confirms a time:

  • A task is created in JobScore
  • An event is added to the interviewer’s work calendar with a link to an interview template and a video conference link
  • An event is added to the candidate’s personal calendar with interview details and a video conference link
