As the Payroll Specialist, you’ll manage all aspects of our employee’s payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You will process payroll, manage direct deposits, benefits withholding, payroll deductions, 401K contributions, garnishments and levies, , federal and state payroll tax deposits and returns, new hire reports, federal payroll summaries, W-2’s, wage and hour law compliance, and paid leave reporting Using subsidiary companies’ software and robust Excel spreadsheets, you’ll create, generate, analyze, monitor, and update various ad hoc and custom reports for payroll administration, evaluation, and reporting. Must have extensive knowledge of payroll functions including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.

You will work collaboratively and with a team of skilled professionals in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment, demonstrating precision and expertise, in order to maximize efficiency and productivity. You’ll maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and judgment in the application of payroll policies and procedures. You must be a detail-oriented, quantitative thinker, who is adept at noticing errors and will be spending a lot of time completing calculations. In order to succeed, you must be able to multi-task and prioritize as well as remain highly organized.

Our Payroll Specialist is an outstanding communicator with a focus on details. This individual invests in his or her own development, keeping abreast of the trends and regulatory issues of the day. He or she has 5 or more years of experience with payroll administration and familiarity with answering common payroll questions for employees. He or she enhances the success of our team by recognizing priorities, initiating action and removing obstacles.
