Behavioral Health Manager (12673)

Behavioral Health | Fremont, CA | Contract | From $70.13 to $70.13 per hour

Job Description

InGenesis is seeking a Behavioral Health Manager to work with our client. In this role, you will provide leadership, vision, and inspiration in planning, directing, and evaluating departmental administrative support services.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring clinical staff fulfillment of duties and requirements pertaining to prospective fields.
  • Coordinating managed care services and referrals to outside agencies.
  • Creating a highly functioning work team environment
  • Is a member of the multidisciplinary, BACH primary care team and communicates and interacts with all levels of staff and primary care providers (medical and dental)
  • Monitors credentialing and licensure
  • Develops criteria for work behavior and performance; evaluates work of subordinates; motivates coaches, counsels, and disciplines direct reports.
  • Participate in weekly or bi-weekly meetings.
  • Perform special project research and data collection activities as requested.
  • Works in conjunction with the Behavioral Health Department Director and Chief Clinical Officer to oversee the billing operations of the mental health program.
  • Implements and maintains quality assurance systems and performance data.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, marriage and family therapy, social work, or counseling.
  • Current license with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), OR Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
  • A minimum of two years of management and supervisory experience.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; Bilingual is preferable.


This position is dependent on contract award.
