Description:

This is an opportunity to join the IERUS team as an X-Lab Level 2 System Maintenance Engineer supporting a large Missile Defense Agency program.

The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree and 3+ years’ experience or bachelors degree with 5+ years relevant experience. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: leading or participating in system troubleshooting, problem resolution, and maintenance activities, to include on-site and/or telephonic maintenance support; serving as an X-Lab application subject matter expert providing Level 2 troubleshooting, break-fix and preventative maintenance actions; performing other related duties and assignments as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Engineering/Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
  • Must be a US citizen with an active Secret clearance.
  • A current Security +, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP certification.
  • Ability to technically diagnose, mitigate/troubleshoot issues, and contribute to an on-site team providing support to mission systems.
  • Sound knowledge and practical experience to direct the assessment and development of Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) and/or Operating Instructions (OIs) to effectively administer, operate and manage services under X-Lab operational control.
  • In-depth background and experience with Operations and Maintenance of large-scale computer and communications systems/networking environments.
  • In-depth experience in system and/or network administration that could include Linux, Windows, Nutanix cloud infrastructure, MDA CLAN and DISA EM network usage.
  • In-depth experience in troubleshooting hardware and software components using bash/pearl scripting or Ansible.
  • In-depth background and experience in data flow usage and ability to troubleshoot with DISA and MDA network connectivity.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience and knowledge of C2BMC System or Missile Defense Systems.
  • Experience with Atlassian Confluence and Jira.
  • Data mining and analysis, Database Administration, Endpoint Management Products, Automated Patch Management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.

Location: Colorado Springs, CO

The proposed salary range for this position is $109.4k - $160.2k. Salaries are commensurate with candidate experience and qualifications within the experience bandwidth, as well as market and business considerations.
