A leading digital streaming network is seeking a Software Developer. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining optimized and highly available data product solutions. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack development. The company offers a great work environment!

Software Developer Pay and Benefits:

• Hourly pay: $80/hr
• Worksite: Leading digital streaming network. (Remote, Candidates must be located in the United States and available to work during Eastern office hours)
• W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program
• 40 hours/week, 10 Month Assignment

Software Developer Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in requirements gathering, design and architect software engineering solutions. support code reviews, improve performance and optimize existing implementations.
• Identify, design and implement internal process improvements by automating manual processes and optimizing data delivery.
• Develop and promote best practices in software engineering.
• Participate in design and code reviews.

Software Developer Qualifications:

• Basic qualifications:
  
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack development.
  • 3+ years HTML/CSS.
  • 3+ years of experience with React.
  • 2+ years experience with Next.js framework.
  • 1+ years experience developing and deploying full-stack solutions on GCP.
  • 3+ years experience with Python and SQL programming skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in a related
    field.
  • Experience with FastAPI or similar Python-based web framework 575M.
  • Experience with a relational database such as MySQL or PostgreSQL. MongoDB is a plus.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Run.
  • Familiar with REST API concepts and asynchronous patterns.
  • Familiarity with ORMs (object-relational mapping).
  • Values software correctness and has a passion for automated tests.
  • Can-do attitude on problem-solving, quality and ability to execute.
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
    
• Nice to haves:
  • Docker experience.
  • Experience with Angular, and Chart.js.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git and GitHub).
  • AI coding.
  • Familiar with Atlassian products Jira and Confluence.
  • Familiar with Lucidchart.
  • Familiar with BigQuery, Secret Manager, Cloud SQL, and Kubernetes.
