A leading biotechnology company is seeking a SAP Cutover Lead. The successful candidate will work closely with the project stakeholders (inc. external where appropriate) to ensure all local elements (IT and business) are aligned, sequenced and documented. Additionally, the role will work closely with Core counterparts as there are close links/dependencies between local cutover activities and those executed at Core (E.g., data loads and core template cutover). The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in SAP project delivery and cutover management, with at least 1 S4/HANA full lifecycle implementation.

SAP Cutover Lead Pay and Benefits:

  • Hourly pay: $65-$75/hr

SAP Cutover Lead Responsibilities:

  • Leadership of cutover activities (planning, dry runs and reporting associated with cutover) for the Demand to Pay/Procurement workstream.
  • Ensure all cutover activities are planned, from the detailed cutover run-books to the wider communications (internal and external).
  • Support functional teams as they define the local requirements, plans and execution.
  • Coordinate the local dependencies between business, IT, data (inc. data remediation).
  • Coordinate with Core dependencies (E.g., Data Migration, Aspire Template Cutover, Global systems).
  • Ensure cutovers are prepared and rehearsed as far as possible (E.g., technical cutovers for each test and pre-prod environment).
  • Run readiness and Go/No-Go assessments in conjunction with the Deployment Lead (including any inventory reporting).
  • Coordinate activities of a wide team of SAP functional experts, SAP technical experts and Business SMEs.
  • Monitor data and cutover progress and communicate to the leadership team including status, progress, issues, etc.
  • Ensure the Ramp-Up plan is in place and supporting ramp-up reporting/status.
  • Ensure any “hybrid scenarios” and workarounds are in place/tested and that resolution targets set.
  • Maintain post-go-live issue log.

SAP Cutover Lead Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in SAP project delivery and cutover management, with at least 1 S4/HANA full lifecycle implementation.
  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematical, Information Systems or Finance & Accounting) or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in global and virtual working environments; managing onshore and offshore teams.
  • Understand SAP configurations and dependencies.
  • Hands-on experience and good knowledge in SAP functional/business processes.
  • Ability to conduct and facilitate workshops with business representatives, team member resources, and external 3rd party groups.
  • Problem-solving skills that use techniques to identify the root cause of the issue and then the ability to clearly communicate (verbal/orally) this position.
  • Attention to detail in the written communications.
  • Advanced communication skills with a demonstrated ability to provide advice, consult and negotiate with senior management and manage key relationships between stakeholders involved in an upgrade/implementation environment.
  • Very good command of English language (speaking & writing) and work experience in a multi-national environment.
  • Work in an agile environment and often on multiple initiatives in parallel.
  • Readiness to travel depending to the project/ services needs.
