Cecil College prohibits the unauthorized use or abuse of drugs and alcohol or the unlawful manufacture, distribution, dispensation, possession, or use of a controlled substance in the workplace. Cecil College also requires employees who are reasonably suspected of using or being under the influence of alcohol or drugs in the workplace to submit to drug and alcohol testing. Violation of Cecil College's drug policy, including a positive drug and/or alcohol test result, may result in action by law enforcement officials, disciplinary action up to and including termination and/or mandatory satisfactory participation in a substance abuse rehabilitation program. As a condition of employment, I agree to abide by the terms of this policy and to notify Cecil College of any criminal drug or alcohol abuse conviction for an offense occurring in the workplace no later than five days after such conviction.
