Skills in Demand

Zenprise is looking for a Software Engineer with strong server-side security Java development experience to help build products designed to solve security issues inherent to the MDM industry.  You will participate in the creation of an authentication platform, developing a server that is expected to scale and function inside some of the world’s largest Web infrastructures.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop server-side security software in Java
  • Code primarily in Java but also able to use the right language for the right job
  • Develop high quality server, web, or mobile systems software – including considerations for testability, scalability, reliability, internationalization, support, operations and security requirements
  • Work in collaboration with a cross-functional team of product managers, user experience designers, engineers, and QA
  • Recommend best practices and improvements to existing systems and processes
  • Design and write easy-to-understand  documentation

Requirements

  • Experience in strong authentication solutions and security platforms
    • Experience with Distributed and Large Scale Systems
    • Knowledge of encryption algorithms
  • Deep experience in design, implementation, and scale-up of complex technologies
  • Experience in building Internet scale high infrastructure products
  • Solid experience with Java and C++ systems programming
  • Experience with developing Web Services
  • Solid object-oriented design skills
  • Experience in network protocols
  • Strong knowledge in software design concepts
  • Great written and verbal skills, especially writing design documents that are easy to understand
