You have a keen attention to detail. You navigate the online advertising industry with ease. You’ve got a proven track record of maintaining client relationships while helping acquire new business. We’re a top 30 site on the web today. Sound like a winning combination?
Like our fans and communities, Wikia is passionate, high-energy, and collaborative. Wikia is one of the largest Creative Commons-licensed sites in the world, as we maintain over 300,000 wikia communities across an impressive array of subjects, spanning all aspects of entertainment, games, and lifestyle. We are rated as a Quantcast Top 30, ComScore Top 100, and Nielsen Top 10 Social Media Site and are visited by over 100 million people a month.
Your mission is to create an advertising environment with which agencies and clients want to do repeat business! You will develop strong relationships with our agencies and clients through superior customer service and high attention to detail. Successfully managing and growing our current client list will be accomplished through fulfillment of RFPs, building sales proposals / media plans, building comprehensive decks, assisting with ComScore reports, entering them into MediaVisor or Atlas, reserving ad inventory and serving as a liaison between departments. Developing a strong understanding of Wikia’s ad products and fielding questions will allow us to provide scalable solutions for advertisers.
You understand interactive advertising and have at least two years of experience. We’d love it if some of your time was spent in gaming or entertainment! Colleagues have described your attention to detail as borderline obsessive and your ability to multi-task comes naturally. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and cringe when you read bad grammar. Navigating teams internally is where you thrive and you love the idea of working in an entrepreneurial environment. On top of everything else you do so well, you’ve got experience with DART and could build a PowerPoint deck or work in Excel in your sleep.
Your impact will extend far beyond your own team to encompass our business as a media platform, consumer products and even technology. Our exciting fan platform is going to introduce great career challenges for you but is also coupled with a culture that emphasizes strong work-life balance. For your expertise, we will offer a competitive salary, stock options, and full benefits. Our dog-friendly digs are located in San Francisco (between BART and CalTrain) and also come with a stocked pantry and gaming room, where some employees practice yoga at lunch.
We’re a company in its heyday and our team has doubled its sales goal since last year. Sound like something you’d be into? Inquire within and let’s get you started.
