Sr. Mobile Engineer (Los Angeles)

The days of the hand-held revolution are here! Vimeo wants to be a major part of the Occupy Mobile Space movement and we need a Los Angeles-based Sr Mobile Engineer to help us. If you have a passion, and 2+ years’ experience, for revolutionary mobile development, check us out.  

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Help create and define the future of mobile video sharing and creation
• Maintain current suite of mobile apps
• Write clean code in a team environment and independently
• Brainstorm, design and implement solutions to tough problems
• Work closely with the Mobile Designer and other mobile engineers to create the best video-viewing and video-uploading experience in the mobile space

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

• 2+ years’ experience developing iOS apps
• Total command of developing in Objective-C and on iOS
• A good design sense; a strong awareness of usability for touch platforms
• Comfortable working in a tight team as well as independently
• Super written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with image manipulation / video processing a +
• Ability to work from Vimeo’s new Los Angeles office
