About Adobe Youth Voices:
Adobe Youth Voices is the Adobe Foundations signature philanthropy program. It aims to empower youth in underserved communities around the globe with real-world experiences and 21st century tools to communicate their ideas, exhibit their potential, and take action in their communities. TakingITGlobal, in conjunction with Adobe, is providing the tools, training and forums for underserved youth globally to learn valuable multimedia skills through the development of youth training programs delivered by local educators to create sustainable and transferable skills within local communities around the world.
The Youth Media Project Coordinator is responsible for leading all administrative and logistical processes associated with the Adobe Youth Voices program. The Project Coordinator provides core support to partner sites and works closely with other members of the Adobe Youth Voices team to ensure efficient and impactful day-to-day program delivery.
· Act as key point of contact for first and second year sites
· Manage all program administration (e.g. contact lists, course enrolment, certificates)
· Updating and maintaining tracking and monitoring databases
· Support the delivery of training courses
· Liaise with Accounting team to process partner site funding
· Manage exhibition logistics (live exhibits, global gallery)
· Webinar preparation and delivery
· Online Community engagement
· Lead partner site recruitment (outreach, interviewing, onboarding)
· Site support (e.g. check-ins, webinars, support)
· Youth program monitoring and support
· Monitor partner site exhibits
· Administer partner site evaluations
· Supporting PM in proposal preparation by compiling necessary materials
· Final submission administration
· Liaise with communications coordinator to ensure program promotion
· Update and maintain social media strategy (e.g. blog)
· Plan and schedule AYV team meetings
· Provide training to new staff where needed
· Coordinating special events and opportunities for sites (e.g. AYV summit, Aspire Awards, Creativity Scholarships)
· Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. Education, Communications, Media, International Development, Social Sciences etc.)
· Familiarity with the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)
· High level of media literacy and an understanding of the application of web 2.0 tools
· Proficient in the use of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
· Detail oriented, organized, with strong management skills
· Excellent communication (written, verbal) and interpersonal skills
· Excellent cross-cultural communications skills
· Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced office environment
· Leadership skills and facilitation experience
· Comfortable with public speaking and presentation delivery
