About Us:

St Anne's, established in 1908, is a nonprofit organization. We have a number of programs including a residential facility for at risk girls, a transitional housing program for at risk women, an Early Learning Center for their children as well as providing mental health services to families within our area.

 

Responsibilities:

  • JOB SUMMARY

    Responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of all treatment services provided to clients in the mental health program. Participate in an interdisciplinary team to provide a healthy, therapeutic, and safe environment for clients. Ensure contract utilization and adherence to documentation standards set by the Department of Mental Health.

     

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

    • Develop, implement and evaluate treatment services for clients enrolled in the mental health program.
    • Implement and oversee compliance with all areas of St. Anne's DMH contract.
    • Interview, hire, supervise and evaluate staff.
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate treatment services, resolving problems interfering with successful and satisfying living.
    • Provide case consultation and support to clinical staff as needed, assisting them in working most effectively with their clients.
    • Participate in the formulation and evaluation of policies and procedures regarding mental health services.
    • Coordinate staff training and development.
    • Attend and participate in Executive Provider meetings and Quality Assurance meetings with DMH.
    • Represent the agency through membership and/or working relationships with other social service agencies.
    • Participate in the formulation and control of the department budget.
    • Ensure full contract utilization.
    • Maintain confidentiality as required by St. Anne's, licensing, HIPAA and other regulatory agencies.

     

     

Requirements:

    • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling required. LCSW/MFT license preferred.
    • Five years' experience of which at least 2 years were in a setting dealing with children, young adults, and families and preferably 2 years administrative, supervisory, or consultative responsibility in a social agency. 
    • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with administrative and professional personnel.
    • Numerical ability is required to understand and assist in preparing and analyzing budgets and statistical data pertaining to the program.
    • Strong clinical skills in individual, family and group therapy.
    • Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate Mental Health Services staff.
    • Good oral and written communication skills.
    • Physical ability to perform Pro-ACT, administer CPR/First Aid.
    • Requires access to a reliable automobile AND a valid California Driver’s License with a driving record acceptable to the agency’s insurance carrier.
    • Ability to use a computer and the ability to learn necessary computer programs.
    • Bilingual skills in Spanish preferred.
