Job Title:

Director Marketing and Business Development , SheFinds Media

Responsibilities:

SheFinds Media is looking for a MARKETING and Business Development MAVEN with ONLINE EXPERIENCE. The Marketing Director is an integral part of our team. You will elevate awareness of the company and oversee marketing and sales efforts for all three of our properties – shefinds.com, momfinds.com, bridefinds.com.  Also, you will play a key role in forging new strategic alliances and business development initiatives.

Passionate about growing revenue, subscribers and traffic, you should have at least 3 years experience in marketing or business development for a website. You should have the business mindset to smartly prioritize and organize our efforts, and the editorial flair to deliver a consistent and compelling message.

You have an eye for what will help us grow visitors, subscirbers and sales. You work with our vendors, customers and the editors of shefinds.com, momfinds.com and bridefinds.com to help us create strategic partnerships, grow traffic and create new advertising and promotional opportunities.

You should be a true networker who has an ability to create and leverage cross promotional business relationships that drive traffic and/or revenue. You have the ability to make connections with other companies for synergistic promotions. You know how to put together promotions and ad packages that will attract advertisers and eyeballs.

Be obsessed with your key metrics – visitors, pageviews and subscribers and come up with ideas on how we can improve our offering. Have experience with growing a site’s traffic and reach and the metrics to prove it.

 


Responsibilities will include:

Business Development/Strategic Partnerships

  • Seek/build relationships with complementary businesses (e.g., retailers, fashion sites, etc.) to grow traffic and revenue
  • Create proposals for cross-promotional branding and content distribution  
  • Maintain and expand existing relationships
  • Evaluate 3rd party technology providers (e.g. assess costs/benefits, ROI, etc.)

Marketing

• Manage promotions
• Manage social media efforts
• Analyze new social media ops
• Oversee ad copy, to be used for marketing
• Oversee Newsletter subscriber acquisition and success rates
• Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and adjust message and/or placements as needed
• Develop and produce ongoing reports that analyze and summarize data to "tell the story" rather than just reporting numbers

 

Sales Coordination


• Develop new ad packages
• Analyze new revenue opportunities

Requirements

* Minimum 3-5 years experience in marketing and business development for online media
* Must be a self starter, creative problem solver who identifies needs, suggests solutions and is capable of managing execution
* Excellent writing and presentation skills
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Ability to think and communicate clearly about online media industry a plus
*Prior experience with online publishers strongly preferred
*Be an outgoing go-getter
