Training Sales Specialist
Reports To: Director of Inside Sales

Summary of Role
Are you a strong inside sales professional who can generate business and close deals? Puppet has a strong community of users, a wide variety of existing clients all hungry to learn more about Puppet and how it can continue to improve their organization's data center operations.
Puppet is hiring a Training Sales Specialist to be a key part of selling training services by phone in a specific region. In this role, you will prospect and sell public training seats, process training orders, collaborate and partner with our vendor to schedule public trainings in assigned territory, and ensure that costs are within our guidelines. You will prepare activity and forecast reports, update and maintain the sales database, and convey customer needs and feedback to the Training Manager. In addition, you will identify Puppet Enterprise leads through training participants and ensure up to date training schedules are published on our training web page.
- Aptitude for learning and communicating product value effectively
- Ability to work under minimal supervision on complex projects
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to excel in a team-selling environment
- Strong written/verbal communications skills
- Expertise using sales databases
