Reporting to the manager ad-server development, we are looking for an ad server developer who can design and implement scalable features in PubMatic ad-server.
- Design and implement scalable features for PubMatic ad server
- Troubleshoot any issues with existing features, live on production.
- Understanding of Big Data technologies
- Knowledge of ad-serving platforms in online advertising
- Prior experience in developing ad-servers serving massive scale and performance
- Knowledge of technologies such as memcache, apache, etc. is required
- Knowledge of optimization, targeting, data handling, reporting, Real Time Bidding and the ecosystem involved, the standards, APIs, protocols etc.
- Knowledge of RTB, second price auctions, CPM floors, bidding algorithms, campaign prioritization, reporting, campaign management, audience and other forms or targeting, etc.
- Working experience in C, Linux/UNIX environment is required
- Working experience in databases, preferably MySQL
- Excellent understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Excellent problem solving skills and demonstrated ability to self-direct and work independently
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 5-8 years of work experience in relevant field.
