Our Senior Software Engineer – Ad Server will be directly involved with building groundbreaking new technologies to leapfrog competition within our competitive, fast-pace online advertising industry. Motivated professionals who enjoy working in dynamic, agile development environments only please!

Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of optimization, targeting, data handling, reporting, Real Time Bidding (RTB), second price auctions, CPM floors, bidding algorithms and the ecosystem involved, standards, APIs protocols, etc.
  • Working experience building highly concurrent, multi-threaded applications using Java is required
  • Familiarity with C and interoperating with C-based applications preferred
  • Working experience in a Linux/UNIX environment is preferred
  • Working experience building distributed systems at scale is preferred
  • Working experience with databases, preferably MySQL
  • Working experience with NoSQL systems, preferably MongoDB
  • Natural curiosity to find creative and effective solutions for complex problems
  • Familiarity with and a proponent of TDD, refactoring, code reviews, continuous integration/deliver and Scrum
  • Comfortable refactoring and removing duplication in large preexisting code bases as well as working on greenfield projects
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as SVN and Git
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

Education

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 7+ years of work experience in relevant field
