Account Manager, Canadian Demand Partners - NY

Job Description

The Demand Account Manager will be responsible for working with PubMatic’s Demand Partners in a day-to-day fashion. In addition, the Demand Account Manager will embrace new Demand solutions as they evolve. The Account Manager will be charged with ensuring that we meet our revenue and optimization goals while delivering outstanding service to our Demand partners. The Account Manager will be an organized, detail-oriented team player with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively. A positive attitude and professional demeanor is essential along with the flexibility to work in a rapidly changing and sales focused environment.  Also, the Demand Account Manager will be knowledgeable in the online industry and communicate with clients via multiple communication methods including in-person. This role will have an emphasis on demand partners in Canada, but will also manage some clients on the east coast as needed.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Understand PubMatic’s products from an intellectual and applied perspective; transfer that knowledge to Demand clients.
* Effectively and strategically present Publisher opportunities to Demand clients. This includes volume availability, suggested CPM’s, FCaps and Publisher opportunities that the DP is not currently taking advantage of.
* Work directly with DP’s to build relationships and provide excellent customer service resulting in high publisher approval rates, timely receipt of ad tags, management and optimization of campaigns.
* Optimizing, tracking and analyzing client campaign performance with the suggestion made to the client in terms of increase performance.
* Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to launch new campaigns and troubleshoot existing campaigns including discrepancy management. 
* Responsible for developing strong and effective working relationships with the Ad Network Sales team and direct manager.
* Build and maintain close working relationships with multiple departments including: Publisher Sales, Ad Operations, Accounting, Engineering and Product Management
* Working with Product Management and Engineering to ensure smooth integration of Ad Networks & DSP’s
* Numerous client engagements per week, followed by call report within 24 hrs.
* Numerous client phone calls per week, followed by call reports within 24 hrs. 
 
Qualifications/Experience:
* 3-4 years of working for an Ad Network, Exchange, DSP or Agency Trading Desk
* 2 years of account management or yield management experience
* Success in fast-paced environments, especially juggling multiple client deadlines
* Strong process management and analytical skills
* Creative problem solver
* 4 year college degree

The candidate should have an understanding of the Online Advertising Industry, a passion for technology and the drive and ownership to work in a start-up environment.  The candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on teamwork, ownership, initiative and integrity.  High energy and must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to react to changing priorities and the ability to prioritize and deliver in a deadline-oriented environment is also critical.
