About the Job:
PARC is seeking a talented and versatile junior-level mechanical design and testing engineer.
In this position, you will be responsible for the design and integration of complex systems and parts across a wide range of applications at PARC ranging from test fixtures to prototype products to production systems.
The ideal candidate will be able to perform basic engineering analysis, complete detailed drawings/specifications, and build and troubleshoot systems with a low level of supervision.
Working with interdisciplinary teams, you will apply your knowledge of mechanical design and electronics to invent, fabricate, and test complex systems that are benchmarks of elegant and effective design.
The successful applicant will be proficient in mechanical design and analysis, prototyping, a wide range of manufacturing processes, electro-mechanical systems, 3D CAD, and system fabrication.
The ideal candidate will have obsessive attention to detail and never find “good enough” an acceptable outcome while consistently meeting fluid and tight deadlines with a strong sense of professional pride and personal ownership.
