​Neighbor, a full service advertising and marketing agency, is seeking a Social Media Community Manager with experience servicing health and wellness and socially-conscious brands, primarily in the industries of food and beverage, as well as other types of consumer packaged goods.  As an integral role to our newly opened and growing San Francisco office, the ideal candidate will have 2+ years experience in an agency setting, including support in social media strategy development, social influencer outreach, and content creation / integration across social platforms Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, Vine, and others.  As a collaborative of marketing disciplines, Neighbors understand the value of extending an idea across platforms -- driving brand awareness and measurable results, and amplifying through social media and public relations disciplines.


  • Team player who embraces an entrepreneurial environment, with the flexibility to work on various clients, prioritize deliverables, and cross-collaborate with other disciplines on the digital / social and public relations teams.
  • Ideally with 2+ years agency experience, working on digital / social campaigns.
  • Mac compatible and proficient Microsoft Office and / or iWork, and highly proficient across social media platforms Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, Vine, and others.

  • Pragmatist who is highly resourceful, and understands our primarily LOHAS-oriented clients’ businesses, while also driven to help create ground-breaking work that blurs the lines of advertising, content creation, entertainment, and utility.

Bonus Points:



  • Currently lives in San Francisco or open to relocating.

  • Previous agency experience -- either large or mid-sized is preferred.

  • Past clients in the industries of health and wellness, consumer packaged goods (CPG), and socially or environmentally-minded ventures and organizations.
