Account Executive – Digital Media

What we need

Mediaocean, the acknowledged leader in systems and software for the advertising industry is looking for a results oriented Digital Media Account Executive to join our MBuy sales team. We would love to hear from proven sales performers with experience in media or advertising. If you would like an opportunity to help clients more effectively manage their digital advertising campaigns and gain a higher return on their investment, this is the role for you.

What you’ll do

  • Acquire new digital advertising clients and generate business through prospecting, networking and qualifying leads within the Chicago/Midwest market
  • Meet and exceed established revenue goals for new and existing clients
  • Create proposals and engaging presentations to potential advertising agencies and in-house agencies
  • Partner with our account management and product teams to present relevant digital solutions to prospective and current clients
  • Develop and deliver sales presentation to key client stakeholders
  • Proactively manage client relationships to ensure that advertisers get the best results and have the right level of service and support to succeed using our platform
  • Establish and foster strong, long lasting client relationships
  • Manage the relationship with existing clients and identify opportunities for performance improvements.
  • Provide clients with detailed performance reports as needed

What you’ll bring to the job

  • Previous experience selling digital advertising (search, display, email)
  • Fluent and comfortable with ad technologies (e.g. pixels, s2s, cookie matching)
  • Working knowledge of display ad networks and exchanges
  • Experience with solution based selling and the ability to consultatively work with clients to come up with creative solutions to their advertising needs
  • Experience working with clients spending $10K+ a month in advertising
  • 3-5 years of inside or inside / outside sales experience
  • Strong experience using WebEx / GoTo Meeting to conduct client presentations and meetings
  • An aggressive and competitive nature with a can-do attitude
  • Current and active network of clients and contacts
