Mass Relevance helps brands, media and agencies get more from their social media efforts by building social experiences into their marketing strategy. The Mass Relevance SaaS platform is leveraged to create real-time consumer engagement by aggregating, filtering, and re-displaying social content from any social network to any digital property – TV, web, mobile, or jumbotron. With over 30 pre-built social experiences and custom solutions in the form of polls, Q&As, filtered streams, second screen experiences, leaderboards, and more, Mass Relevance makes it easy to integrate social into any campaign or media effort. These experiences drive greater ROI by making 'owned' media experiences more participative and 'amplifiable' – increasing sharing, time on site, brand/product consideration and followers/fans. Mass Relevance is a Certified Twitter Partner and also pulls in social content from Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Google+. In just over two years, more than 250 major brands, sports teams, publishers and broadcasters have used Mass Relevance to layer social into their media efforts. This includes Victoria's Secret, Patagonia, Nike, GE, American Express, Pepsi, MTV, The Oscars, CBS, Fox and NBC.

To be successful you'll need to work hard and play hard. You have to be passionate about our business and enjoy the pace and ambiguity that comes with a growing startup. You must be a self-starter and have the perseverance to pursue hundreds of prospects who need our solution.


  • Ability to quickly establish relationships on the phone with senior executives
  • Ability to be organized and work in Salesforce
  • Execute at 110% to achieve your quarterly quota of web meetings generated

You must have experience in market development, turning prospects into meetings, and calling and emailing prospects. You will set up meetings for large enterprise deals with your Outside Sales conterparts, as well as close deals on your own. You MUST be comfortable on the phone and making 30+ calls a day in order to achieve target.

About You:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • Expert in selling an early-stage product in a new industry (with a proven need) is a plus
  • 2+ years experience in business development and/or sales as a top 10% performer
  • Excellent communications and problem solving skills. Ability to make decisions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Expert user of current web/online communication technologies, including browsers, search, email, instant messaging, and forums/message boards
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Desire to constantly learn and process new information about our industry, solution, partners, and competitors
  • Extremely proactive with a strong bias for action
  • A strong work ethic and desire to work in a fast-paced, fun, demanding environment
  • Proficient with Salesforce and MS Office, MAC, PowerPoint, and Excel
