This includes Victoria's Secret, Patagonia, Nike, GE, American Express, Pepsi, MTV, The Oscars, CBS, Fox and NBC.

Are you a great writer with deep knowledge in the social media space and a passion for journalism? If so, let’s get together. Mass Relevance is seeking a full-time Content Marketing Manager to join our marketing team. This role will play an important part in a broad range of marketing and communication initiatives at a fast paced, early stage startup. The Content Marketing Manager will own content strategy and translating market insights into relevant, high-impact marketing materials.

The Content Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Marketing and work closely with the sales, client operations and creative teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Owning the development and communication of the content roadmap and editorial calendar.
  • Authoring and editing marketing materials including: whitepapers, infographics, collateral, presentations, articles and blogs.
  • Collaborating with Program Managers and our Creative Team to ensure production of materials and see that content is effectively delivered to the market through appropriate channels.
  • Identifying thought leadership stories and generating compelling content that support specific campaign and demand generation efforts.
  • Developing the tone for Mass Relevance and writing a variety of content styles that are on message, consistent, and optimized for consumption across all channels – online, email, social media, video, print and in-person.
  • Measuring and tracking types of content that are being consumed and using those insights to drive future content roadmap decisions.

 

Requirements:

  • You have at least 5+ years of work experience in marketing, journalism, or communications, ideally working for a technology company or agency.
  • Minimum of 3 years working in B2B marketing.
  • Proven excellence in writing in all different styles and can demonstrate ability to take complex topics and communicate them effectively.
  • Exemplary editing and proof-reading skills.
  • You add strategic input throughout the course of a project and aren’t just an order taker.
  • You have excellent project management skills and are highly organized.
  • You work efficiently are dependable and have an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • You love social media and stay on top of the latest tools and techniques.
  • You are familiar with fresh content ideas that are consistent with the most recent social media trends.
  • You have a sense of humor, positive attitude, and passion for business and entrepreneurship.
