Director, Content Marketing

This role will work closely with company executives and industry thought leaders to produce high quality articles and marketing materials. The Director will be a highly creative, resourceful and successful communicator with a deep understanding of the marketing/CMO space, and at least some familiarity with marketing analytics. The Director will initially report to EVP Americas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee execution of a comprehensive content marketing strategy intended to expand CMO awareness of MarketShare and elevate marketplace perceptions of our brand/solutions to the highest strategic levels.
  • Research, structure, and ghost-write several thought provoking and highly polished articles and POV pieces each month for business and trade publications both print and online. Publications will range from Harvard Business Review, Forbes.com, AdAge, TechCrunch, Business Insider, Marketing Today blog, etc.
  • Research and write/edit white papers or reports on topics related to marketing decision-making, applied analytics, working with big data, etc.
  • Develop/write material for executive’s speeches at major conferences
  • Write blog posts and other short-copy elements for MarketShare online and related social assets
  • Write copy for use in direct or electronic mail
  • Contribute to development of sales tools such as marketing collateral, case studies, video scripts, etc.
  • Collaborate with others in the marketing team in the planning and execution of effective PR, social media, and product marketing functions.

  • Strength of content strategy in terms of relevance to target audience(s)
  • Volume/productivity of quality content production
  • Ubiquity of content visibility to target audience(s)
  • Engagement of prospective clients as measured by increased interaction on-site or with social media channels
