To be considered for this position, you must have experience setting up entities in China from Scratch. This includes partnering with the VAT to get approvals.

Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
••
Provide support in establishing entity structure and other start-up activities for Asian operations;
Responsible for overseeing accounting procedures, internal controls (implementing, monitoring,enhancing), and database management:
1. Supervises Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable transaction entry (possibly to be
completed by outside resource)2. Ensure transactions are appropriately authorized and coded to correct accounts3. Assures internal control compliance for Asian and US standards
4. Assists in monthly journal entries, financial statement review, and general ledger
reconciliations for Asian divisions5. Assist with yearly audit preparation

Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget for Asian divisions
Work with internal and external resources to ensure all financial, tax, and regulatory filings arecompleted accurately and timely.Serve as liason between Asian employees and US HR

Serve as liason between Asian clients and US Management
1. Assist in communications with customer on billing and other questions

Assists US-based Accounting Manager and US-based Corporate Controller as needed on specialprojects, if requestedFuture involvement with other Asian operations is likely

REQUIREMENTS:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong command of English and Mandarin;any additional Asian language skills a plus;

University degree in accounting and/or finance;

China or overseas CPA qualification;

Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Big Four public accounting or comparable industryexperience;

Solid base in PRC accounting / taxation practices and regulations;

Demonstrates proficiency in all MS Office applications including Word, Excel, & Power Point andin Internet software.

Good client relationship management skills;

Good problem solving and decision making skills;

Team player, dynamic and hardworking; and

Willing to occasionally travel.
