Responsibilities

The marketing manager will own the company’s social media program and support the overall earned media efforts, which include in addition to social media, public relations, brand positioning, SEO, voice, and messaging, and brand awareness campaigns. Specific roles and responsibilities include:

  • Owning social media strategy its execution which includes:
  • Creating and maintaining social editorial calendar
  • Defining and developing the brand’s voice for social media
  • Running promotions, sweepstakes and creative social campaigns
  • Managing communities and growing fan base on Facebook, Twitter, Google +, YouTube, Pinterest and other relevant networks
  • Communicating Manilla press and announcements creatively on social platforms
  • Running and optimizing paid social campaigns on Facebook, Twitter, StumbleUpon and others
  • Tracking and reporting on relevant metrics
  • Collaborating with Manilla’s business partners on conceptualizing and executing social media and user acquisition co-branded campaigns
  • Support B2B marketing efforts where appropriate

Requirements

Qualified candidates will:

  • Have 5-7 years experience with consumer-facing digital businesses, on either the brand or agency side
  • Have extensive experience in social media marketing
  • Possess both analytical and creative skillsets: ability to conceptualize and design innovative marketing programs, and measure performance and optimize activities based metrics
  • Be a self-starter who brings ideas to the table and is able to quickly build a strategy around the idea, execute it and measure its performance
  • Follow industry trends, developments, and best practices with regards to digital media and social media
