The role: Accounting Analyst
Lenddo accountants are a savvy bunch who handle the core accounting responsibilities at Lenddo. As a member of this team, you know your accounting principles and the full accounting process end to end. Responsible for the day to day finance & accounting activities including: Bookkeeping, Regulatory filings, Loan accounting, Bank reconciliations, Financial and management reporting, Treasury function.
Assist in the completion of budgets, managing audits and coordination with our lawyers and regulatory agencies.
Ensure that reconciliations, the close process, and monthly close reports are completed fully, on time and of the highest standard.
Manage the delivery of the accounting processes performed by an external Business Process Outsource vendor ensuring that all service levels are met, the internal control environment is robust and a quality service is provided.
Develop in-depth knowledge of tools and applications in support of the accounting function and lead projects that will yield efficiency through automation, standardisation and outsourcing.
Represent Accounting and Controls with our key business partners through effective communication with Accounting teams in other countries and senior management.
Provide occasional administrative support to the CEO of the Americas, as required
Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or a related field. In lieu of degree, relevant skills or equivalent experience.
Professional Accounting qualification in Colombia
Basic written and spoken English
At least 2 years of working experience in bookkeeping for a bank, MFI or lending company using a computerized accounting system.
Demonstrable understanding of accounting principles, including IFRS and related international accounting standards.
Use of QuickBooks a distinct advantage and must be computer literate.
