At LeanData, we work hard and play hard. You can often find us engaged in an intense game of ping pong while taking a break from coding our next big feature.

We are working hard to help our customers save millions of dollars by improving and making sense of vast amount of sales and marketing data. On a daily basis, you will find yourself working on data analytics, visualization tools, or improving our FuzzyMatching algorithm. We move fast but we also value code quality.

We’re located in Downtown Sunnyvale, right in the heart of Silicon Valley. Sunnyvale’s Historic Murphy Avenue offers many options for lunch and dinner as well as several bars to grab a drink or watch a sports game.

Our office is directly adjacent to the Sunnyvale Caltrain Station which makes for an easy commute from San Francisco or anywhere in the Bay Area.

 

Software Engineer

We are looking for an engineer to help us build a world-class product. If you think you have what it takes to be an engineer in a fast-growing startup then LeanData is the right place for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Help design and architect new features for the SaaS platform
  • Take ownership and help test, release, and maintain the codebase
  • Help us build a great company

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Knowledge of some or all of the following: Ruby on Rails, Java, C/C++, Ajax/Javascript, HTML5, and SQL
  • Willingness to learn new technologies that will give the company a competitive edge
  • Passion for coding that comes across in your work and side projects
  • Passion for working in an early-stage startup and building a great company
  • Ability to work on your own, without requiring a lot of structure or unnecessary process
  • Ability to understand customer needs and translate those into software features
  • Willingness to do whatever it takes to be successful
