Responsibilities:

As social media marketing manager, you are responsible for creating, managing and growing the company’s online presence through blogs, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest and Instagram. Your responsibilities include:

  • Work with Marketing team to develop and implement a strategy to grow our social media presence on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Pinterest
  • Engage our customers and fans daily on social media channels
  • Promote original content created by the Kiwi Crate content team
  • Find and curate relevant third party content related to kids creativity, crafts, and education
  • Report weekly on progress on acquiring and engaging social media users
  • Stay on top of new social media channels and trends and best practices

  • 2+ years of social media marketing experience using via Twitter and Facebook
  • Outgoing personality, socially adept at conversing via social media
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent English writing skills, ability to communicate succinctly
  • Solid project management skills
  • Great time management skills, able to multi-task in a fast paced, constantly evolving, and dynamic environment
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule – includes some night and weekend hours
  • Strong content research skills and the willingness to curate news and relevant industry content for the target audience
  • BS/BA required
