We are looking for an HTML/CSS associate interested in contributing to the very early stages of a startup - where you will have a real impact on the business. You will work closely with our engineering, marketing, and creative teams to help deliver great emails and landing pages. This position is for 10-20 hours/week. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Use HTML and CSS to code emails and landing pages for marketing
  • Test emails to ensure deliverability and quality rendering across multiple email platforms and devices
  • Stay abreast of and recommend email coding best practices
  • Include analytics tracking in all emails to measure performance metrics

  • Student in a web development major or similar experience with 2+ years in classes focused on HTML/CSS coding
  • Comfortably read and code emails and web pages using best-practices for rendering across email clients and browsers
  • Detail oriented, QA your own work to delivery high quality emails
  • Ensure email activity is tracked to support ongoing optimization
  • Experience with content management systems is a plus
  • Driven, flexible, self-starter with ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to deliver tasks on time and with high quality


  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, lllustrator, etc)
  • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JS
  • Experience with Ecommerce / Magento
