B2B Customer Service Associate

Background:

InsideUp (www.insideup.com) operates an online advertising/lead generation platform that’s dedicated solely to serving the needs of business service providers and their potential customers. The San Diego-based company provides B2B business service firms (e.g., merchant accounts, payroll, loans, phone services, etc.) with qualified and verified sales leads delivered in real time. InsideUp’s platform also helps companies that are seeking business services to locate the right service provider for their specific needs. This platform combines next generation business-matching and prospect-profiling technologies with powerful search engine, social media and lead generation technologies.

InsideUp is seeking a Customer Service Associate to generate and verify leads of businesses. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to gain valuable inside sales experience and is passionate about an early stage company at the leading edge of B2B online advertising and Web technologies.

Responsibilities:

-Outbound calling to target businesses who would be interested in using InsideUp’s free service to be matched with business service vendors.

-Heavy outbound phone calling to business owners and managers responsible for purchasing services for their companies.

-Prospect and qualify leads and contacts using online research and outbound calling.

-Respond to inbound leads; qualify businesses to use InsideUp service

-Provide customer service to existing company users.

-Report as needed to summarize lead qualification metrics.

Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree and/ or 2-4 years of telemarketing experience to small and medium sized business.

-Creative, assertive and Web savvy.

-Experience using business networking and guerilla networking tools.

-Work experience in a service-oriented business, preferable B2B.

-Extensive research and networking capabilities utilizing online data tools.

-Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

-Experience using Web based CRM system.

-Able to commit to 30 hours a week in-office.

Compensation:

The compensation plan for this position will allow you to make $30,000 to 40,000 in the first year and will include a guarantee of $1,000 a month and an aggressive commission plan, plus company stock equity.
