Hilton Garden Inn is growing and looking to add a housekeeping supervisor. A minimum of one year of hotel supervisory experience is required and you must be Bilingual (Spanish). Supervisor’s responsibilities include: ensuring all guest rooms, public areas and back of the house work areas meet the established standards of cleanliness to assure guest satisfaction. Supervise, train, support, and monitor housekeepers, laundry personnel and housemen to ensure that housekeeping services are completed in a first-class manner. Ensure hotel’s compliance with safety, QA and sanitation standards for all housekeeping areas. Supervisor is responsible to ensure all rooms have been assigned and serviced each day and assigns daily tasks to the housekeeping staff. Responsible for room inspections of both vacated and occupied hotel rooms. Maintain a regular deep cleaning program and a daily and/or weekly project for housekeeping and housemen. Assist Housekeeping Director in creating schedule, as well as maintaining appropriate cleaning, supply and linen inventory.
Supervisor will be responsible for clear and effective communication between housekeeping and other departments. Report all work orders to engineering/maintenance any and all problems needing repairs. Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner. Supervisor will be responsible for opening and closing housekeeping department on assigned days, and performs other duties as required. Supervisor reports to the Director of Housekeeping.
Compensation- $9.50-$10.50 based on experience
