About the role:

We are designing a new way of thinking about human resources, training and development. Rather than having your typical recruiters, sourcers, and HR business partners, we are building a team of talent professionals that work across all of these functions to provide a strategic support system for the managers and employees of foursquare.

This next addition to our team, a Talent Programs Manager, will define, build, and implement much needed programs focused on internal talent development - management training, advanced skills training, performance evaluations, compensation analysis, organizational design, and much more. The Talent Programs Manager will partner closely with the rest of the talent team to identify the company’s needs, make recommendations, and ensure smooth execution across the entire organization.

This position will be based at our New York headquarters in SoHo. We offer a competitive compensation package including full benefits and equity options for everyone.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years experience building and implementing HR programs
  • Specific experience training first-time managers
  • Domain knowledge in a combination of the following areas:
    • ​Training programs
    • Performance evaluations
    • Organizational design
    • Retention and rewards
    • Compensation analysis
    • Employment law and compliance
    • HRIS
  • ​Strong public speaking and communication skills
  • Comfortable leading large training sessions and workshops
  • A knack for developing eye-catching and engaging presentations (if you have samples from previous roles, we would love to see them!)
  • Comfortable in a small, intense, and high-growth startup environment
