Role: Technical Architect Overall Purpose Responsible for developing information architectures and data models

Role and responsibilities

  • Develops detailed functional design and prototypes (e.g., Oracle solution components, YODA)
  • Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement business requirements
  • Work to resolve application issues, designing and implementing system enhancements, and in documenting new user requirements
  • Provide input for production related issues; planning, design and execution of data conversion activities
  • Act as a liaison between IT and the internal business customer
  • Translate business objectives and process into clear definition of IT requirements, culminating in successful delivery Education
  • BA/BS degree is preferred
  • Java and Java related Technologies Expert, SQL Expert
  • Strong understanding of the Oracle Supply Chain/ Financials schema and table structures
  • Experience in interfacing with Warehouse Systems, EDI, ASCP
  • Project management experiences a plus


MANAGERS ADDITION: NPW will be working on various RUBY domains, CC, ISC, ROBO, RMS in particular. The NPW will also work on SASHA (Work Flow Engine). RUBY is a rules-based business process automation system . The Customer Care rules (CC) are implemented to automate Tier 1 and Tier 2 service operations functions for Classic AT&T (private line,, voice, FR/ATM, AVPN, etc., service maintenance). The requirements for the business rules are provided by customer service assurance representatives but are written and maintained within AT&T by the IT organization under Arroyo/Macauda/Bajpay. RUBY CC performs automated trouble diagnose, proactive maintenance, and service repair verification - all deployable on a customized basisMilestones: October 2013 (R59); Feb 2014 (R60); June 2014 (R61). RUBY-ISC is RUBY integration with ISAAC. RUBY also interacts with SASHA (Work Flow Engine). 


Architect, design and develop RUBY Customer Care, RUBY-ROBO, RUBY-Managed Services, RUBY-ISC and Managed Services WorkFlow Engine software for 2013 and beyond releases. Responsible for providing and implementing Solution architecture based on requirements. Develop detailed design and implement. Work with cross-functional interfacing systems such as AOTS, BMP, DBOR to come up with interface specifications and design including the WSDLs to implement the business requirements. Work with Systems engineers for HLD reviews, provide input and resolve issues. Work with System test and user and PSO for any software issues. Provide input on production issues, plan and design solutions to reduce the defects. Work with the process owners and internal business customers to get consensus about the requirements and the implementation. The experience and skills needed for this position are JAVA and related technologies, ILOG, TeMIP, knowledge of Oracle , UNIX, C++. Experience with Rule writing with ILOG is a plus.Experience with telecom Network elements, EMS is a plus.
