To achieve that, we spend our days engineering the world’s most advanced open source search and analytics engine, which is rapidly becoming the most popular solution in this space.  We are looking for an energetic, innovative, and results-oriented sales enablement leader who can work across the organization to determine the sales organization’s needs regarding knowledge, skills, and tools to successfully position the right solution to a rapidly expanding customer base.  The company, with joint headquarters in California and Amsterdam, is seeing remarkable growth by evidence of over 10M downloads to-date and more than $100M in venture funding by industry-leading investors Benchmark Capital, Index Ventures, and NEA.

The sales enablement program will be designed and delivered with the specific intent of increasing sales performance and bookings growth. This includes designing and delivering new hire sales training as well as the ongoing certification and training needs of the extended sales organization, both direct and indirect. Our ideal candidate will prepare, coordinate, and deliver training programs alongside sales leadership to deliver both live and on-demand learning to a variety of audiences. This role will report directly to the VP of Sales and is a senior individual contributor role with the aim to lead a broader team in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a sales enablement process aimed specifically at the sales ecosystem (field sales, sales engineering, inside sales, partners, marketing, etc.)
  • Manage and deliver a sales on-boarding and bootcamp with a focus on sales messaging and positioning
  • Actively track and analyze sales team progress and monitor the effectiveness of existing training
  • Develop and manage a certification process across the organization
  • Partner with sales leadership to conduct needs analysis and ensure individual sales training needs are met and become a trusted advisor for the organization
  • Effectively communicate the needs of the regional sales organizations to marketing, product strategy and management that own subject matter expertise for building appropriate tools and training
  • Continuously work with management to refine training strategy to optimize efficiency and results
  • Influence tools and content used by the sales organization (i.e. standard presentations, demos, etc)
  • Determine regional nuances for curriculum / content and ensure that all training materials are current

Experience

· Bachelor’s Degree and at least 10+ years of experience working in either direct sales or sales enablement, operations or training environments with strong understanding of the sales process
