Position Summary:

The Account Executive is a business development role responsible for selling the full spectrum of ConnectSolutions’ products and services, including private-cloud unified communications solutions, to end-user customers in assigned industry or accounts.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Represent the company to the customer in all sales-related activities in the role as key client contact
  • Develop strategic business plan to maintain current client base and generate new business opportunities through prospecting customer
  • Drive revenue and close new business sales by securing demonstrations and meetings with key decision-makers in enterprise companies. Decision makers include a wide range of CXO marketing and demand generation titles, as well as Corporate Communications, IT, Procurement and Sales
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with customers by learning their business objectives and needs
  • Recommend solutions, prepare and present proposals and negotiate contracts
  • Maintain pipeline of forecasted sales to meet sales quotas set by the company
  • Achieve and exceed all individual sales targets
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest developments, trends, and regulations in the market place by attending sales seminars, meetings and educational activities
  • Keep current with all ConnectSolutions product information, pricing and contract terms
  • Travel, as required, to meet prospects and customers face-to-face

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to converse in a knowledgeable manner on various industry topics and Internet technologies in order to sell opportunities to prospective customers
  • Ability to create successful sales strategies for ConnectSolutions products and/or services
  • Ability and skills to develop relationships quickly, both internally within ConnectSolutions and externally with prospect/customers/partners
  • Highly developed organizational, planning and management skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment with changing needs and requirements
