Job Description

CityGrid Media is growing and looking for a National Interactive Sales Executive to join our team in NYC.

 

CityGrid Media is a local-focused division of InterActive Corp (symbol IACI).  Our sites are an important part of our user’s lives and reach over 42m UV’s!  Our properties deliver consumers unique and local lifestyle recommendations including dining, nightlife, shopping and more!  We own the mobile and display media on award winning and highly regarded sites:  Urbanspoon, Urbanspoon Mobile, Citysearch and Citysearch Mobile and we want you to sell it.

 

This position will be responsible to:

 

  • Work with agencies and direct clients to provide “internal consulting” to address Display Advertising needs
  • Manage all sales processes including reporting, sales campaign development, and identifying sales targets for agencies in an effort to meet and exceed national revenue objectives.
  • Manage all correspondence with agencies and advertising agencies.
  • Tracking revenue for assigned agencies to ensure national revenues are achieved and generates national sales reports.
  • Serve as national expert on the organization’s policy, specifications, and standards.
  • Develop, implement, and train on marketing programs.
  • Provide necessary market study information to agencies.

 

Our ideal candidate will have:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business
  • Strong sales skills including prospecting, forecasting, pitching, presenting, and closing large deals
  • 4+ years of experience selling internet ad space
  • Candidates who have worked in sales at a publisher or at a digital ad agency preferred
  • Hit the ground running and close deals quickly 
  • Working knowledge of CPM pricing models
  • Ability to create dynamic, targeted proposals customized to the specific needs of the agency and/or brand
  • Outstanding presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships at all levels.
  • Experience using ad serving technologies such as Atlas,DART, and Doubleclick.
  • Team orientation with ability to work well across organizations and with multi-functional teams
