This is the opportunity to build a product from scratch and see it launched. You have written Ruby-powered software before, including things outside of the Ruby on Rails framework. Hopefully, you have done a couple hackathons or side projects. You are a hacker who does things on the side. The ideal person is interested in non-traditional programming languages (eg. LISP), functional programming, and is a polyglot (knows more than just Ruby). You do it out of interest, not necessity and have written code for things that are not just simple web-apps / websites / mobile apps. The ideal person is involved in the community and has a good sense of design - both when it comes to the visual design and usability of a consumer product, and when it comes to the architectural design of the code and systems themselves.
We’re building the business engine for mobile games. Our platform already has thousands of customers, many more thousands of apps and a boatload of services that help game developers be more successful. We already have a successful business model and we have huge potential to be much bigger and better. This is a huge challenge, it’s really exciting to us and should be equally exciting to you!
