Sales Assistant (New York)

Chango is changing the way advertisers buy display media, allowing advertisers to speak directly to consumers based on their recent searches on Google, Yahoo!, and Bing, among others.

We are growing rapidly to meet the needs of our impressive client base, including major, well known retailers and internationally recognized agencies in the US and Canada.

Responsibilities:

Assist sales team in completing RFP responses in excel, word and powerpoint.  Execute and deliver a high quality finished product

Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to complete special projects (sales, client services, marketing, account management)

Maintain and organize the sales team wiki, and be point person for internal sales collateral

Assist with sales team HR coordination

Compile and coordinate various periodic sales reports

Assistance with outbound prospect contacts and company research

Field, filter and distribute inbound sales leads to the appropriate territory

Assistance with outbound lead qualification

Requirements:

 

  • Post Secondary Degree
  • 3+ years  of experience in a media industry sales support in a fast-paced high technology environment is preferred but not required
  • The ideal candidate must be comfortable and adept with technology and very proficient with MS word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint
  • Driven! Self-sufficient, does not hesitate to ask questions when necessary
  • Thrive in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment – prefer working in small, high achieving collaborative teams
  • You are a keen problem solver, and tend to not make the same mistake twice
  • Ability to stay organized and focused while partnering with a large fast moving sales organization
  • You are a team player, with the ability to deliver results independently
