Manager of Structured Finance

Location: San Mateo, CA

Position Summary

Primary Responsibilities:

  • This role reports directly to the CFO and requires extensive interaction with the Executive Management Team.  
  • Creating financial models for structured funds as well as assisting with M&A targets and strategic partnerships.
  • Building market models for a variety of higher education new product segments.
  • Owning the incorporation of strategic initiatives into Rafter’s financial planning models and related processes
  • Working with our legal team to assist in the negotiation and successful close of strategic initiatives
  • Monitoring and tracking performance of each fund.


Minimum Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree (MBA a strong plus) in finance or accounting and 5+ years investment banking and/or corporate development finance experience
  • Extensive project finance, structuring and financial modeling experience
  • Outstanding presentation development and delivery skills
  • Considerable maturity and flexibility
  • The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
