Bleacher Report, one of the web's largest sports networks, is revolutionizing journalism and profitably growing at an astounding rate. We provide an unparalleled opportunity to work on a web site that reaches 20 million readers per month and is the 4th largest sports site, right behind ESPN, Fox Sports, and Yahoo.

We are looking for a skilled office manager with administrative experience who is savvy enough to be the backbone of day-to-day operations. To thrive in this role, you'll need to be able to work independently, have excellent communication skills, and be super organized. A proven ability to work under pressure and prioritize is a must. This is a unique opportunity to play an integral role in a fast growing company.


Key responsibilities involve:

  • Manage overall day-to-day business of Bleacher Report NY Office
  • Deal with any queries via phone, email, and general correspondence
  • Manage procurement of all office supplies, stationery, equipment, food/beverage and furniture
  • Manage Office Deliveries, Mail, FedEx/UPS, Cleaning and Sanitation
  • Coordinate all HR Related issues for NY Office with SF Office Manager
  • Coordinate company promotional goods, client gifts, and ticket purchases
  • Take the lead on planning and executing NY based client events
  • Asking for 20-30 hours weekly commitment


You will need:

  • Minimum of 3 years in administrative positions.
  • College Degree, preferably with a communications and/or sports background
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Mac Operating systems is preferred.
  • Some sales support experience is desirable, but not mandatory
  • Experience managing the calendar of a busy office
  • The desire to make a real difference in a small company, and to have some fun along the way
