Cloud Security Architect

The Cloud Security Architect will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of security solutions for consumer and enterprise cloud storage markets. We are seeking a candidate with hands-on experience in design and individual implementation. This candidate will need knowledge in one or more of the following: network, storage, compute and storage virtualization, and SaaS/PaaS, with the ability to provide security solutions for these areas. A good understanding of usage models and requirements in public cloud security will be needed for this position.


  • Designing the security architecture, implementation, and architecture reviews
  • Identifying and responding to security vulnerabilities and external threats
  • Communicating with internal cross function organizations as well as public end users


  • BS degree in CS, EE, CE, or a closely related field. MS preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP stack, SSL, TLS, and modes of operation
  • Expertise with symmetric/asymmetric encryption algorithms, key exchange algorithms, and hashing algorithms and attacks based on their misuse
  • Experience with virtualization and security for storage, compute, network, and end-point
  • Hands-on experience in development, technical product delivery, and cross-business unit coordination of development efforts
  • Experience with systems design
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to address public security concerns
