As a highly-valued member of Badgeville’s Marketing Team, you will play a key role in being the “CTO” of our Corporate Website, Blog Network, and Online Communities. The ideal candidate will be well versed in current web development best practices, with expertise in Drupal, PHP and Javascript. Experience with Marketo is a big plus. S/he enjoys working as part of a small, enthusiastic and driven team to get stuff done while still being able to laugh, collaborate, and have fun.

Responsibilities:


  • Own the development of our corporate website, microsites, and blogs using Drupal and Wordpress
  • Own the development and management of our community
  • Pixel-perfect translatation of Photoshop/Fireworks design files into well formatted HTML & CSS
  • Work closely with Marketing and Design to review requirements, UI designs, scope and timing
  • Become an expert on Badgeville’s Behavior Platform & API
  • Complete deliverables in a fast-paced, deadline driven work environment
  • Iterate on user interface implementations until they satisfy all stakeholders

Critical Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Expertise in Advanced Drupal Admin and Development
  • 5+ years as a Software Engineer or Front End Web Developer
  • Experience as a webmaster for B2B / SaaS companies
  • Strong hand-coding of semantic, efficient, standards compliant HTML & CSS
  • Strong understanding of how to code for cross-browser compatibility
  • Strong understanding for slicing and optimizing images for the web
  • Competency in Adobe Photoshop
  • JavaScript (with and without frameworks such as JQuery)
  • Experience with integrating into Marketo or other marketing automation system
  • Experience with advanced Wordpress development

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of UX/UI best practices
  • A/B Testing expertise
  • QA experience
