The Solutions Consultant is a highly consultative inside sales role. As a Senior Solutions Consultant, you will be a leader on the team that is responsible for responding immediately to inbound inquiries from prospective clients, including RFPs, and building the relationship through the development of a scope of work and cost estimate. You will work alongside a Digital Business Strategist; their responsibility will include formation of long-term strategy and identification of opportunities beyond the immediate scope of work.
Analyze prospective client websites and business situations quickly and accurately.

You must be able to understand and promote all capabilities of the company - from design and user experience to high availability application development and hosting.
You must be a great listener, able to empathize with and understand the prospect’s needs.
Manage a wide range of relationships with clients, prospects, and partners with no hand-holding through in-person meetings, conference calls and presentations.
Provide guidance and thought leadership to help form strategies and define projects.
Develop insightful, thorough recommendations to improve technical, design, content, strategic, and other elements of prospects’ online presence.
Develop initial quotes/estimates with accuracy and reliability, based on clear understanding of project complexity.
Create and deliver proposals for executing recommended strategies and tactics.
Work as part of the team to develop strategies for scale and growth.
Close the deal - you will be responsible for $1M+/year of new sales.
BA or BS, ideally with emphasis in communications, marketing, advertising, computer science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
4+ years of internet marketing and/or web development experience OR sales and/or Project Management experience within the web development industry.
Experience in inside sales in technology (software, web development, IT) and in an agency setting with custom development projects preferred.
Deep knowledge and interest in online marketing, web design/development, business analytics.
Strong understanding of search engine-friendly web design and ability to make critical design and technical recommendations.
Must be smart and business savvy with sales, consultative, problem solving, and issue resolution skills.
Technical enough to not be scared of terms like “DNS” or “API”. You don’t need to be a software engineer or IT geek, but you have to be able to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
Experience working with small to large businesses with strong reputations (such as Fortune 1000 companies).
Desire to explain, teach, coach, and generally enable our clients to use the web to achieve meaningful results for themselves over the long-term.
Interest in coaching or mentoring junior co-workers and serving as a leader within the company preferred.
Excellent presentation, verbal, and writing skills are required.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple simultaneous accounts and resources.
