Enrollment Specialist - Healthcare Administration

Job Description


We are a boutique agency recruiting for experienced Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment Specialists to work in the healthcare customer service division of a national, public sector consulting firm located in downtown Chicago.


As a Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment Specialist, you will focus on the following:

  • Delivering excellent customer service by maintaining strict performance and quality standards
  • Developing a strong knowledge of the program and services to effectively communicate with clients
  • Evaluate the data provided by the client with state eligibility requirements, document enrollment information, and make a determination of whether information is missing, or in conflict.
  • Contact the client to clarify or obtain missing, conflicting or additional information
  • Responding to telephone calls, in person inquiries, and written inquiries in a courteous and timely manner


Experience and Education:

  • Minimum of two years experience in a healthcare or health insurance call center, customer service position 
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry and call-management systems, Medicaid and Medicare
  • High School diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to type 50 WPM or higher
  • Ability to pass a 7-year background check
  • Bilingual Spanish skills a plus


  • 40 hours per week
  • Operating Hours: M-F 7am – 7pm
