Senior Web Engineer – Rails at 33Across in Sunnyvale, CA


33Across is looking for an experienced developer that likes building consumer-facing web applications.  As part of our advanced development team, you will build new dashboards and tools for our web publisher and advertiser customers. As Senior Web Engineer – Rails, you will:

●Build, enhance, and maintain our Publisher dashboards and workflows, providing new insights and control to our customers as we extend our capabilities to mobile & tablet.

●Work with User Experience and Visual Designers to implement intuitive and aesthetic web UIs.

●Integrate with our Big Data/NoSQL backend infrastructure to pull data that feeds insights and reports.

●Work closely with other developers, quality assurance and operations engineers, and product managers to develop and support these systems.


●4+ years or overall software development experience.

●2+ years of development experience with Ruby on Rails. A solid front-end foundation (Javascript, HTML, CSS).

●Experience with support of high-availability, high-performance, customer-facing web applications

●2+ years working on database-driven websites and MySQL.

●Experience in Java is highly desirable.

●Experience with BigData technologies such as Hadoop, HBase, Pig, and Redis will be a definite plus.

●A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
