Twistage is looking for a Junior Web Developer to join our growing software development team. When you join you'll be junior in seniority but not in responsibility. You'll be an integral part of a well-established and profitable company, developing mission-critical features almost as soon as you arrive. We believe in interative development and a rapid release cycle, delivering new features to our users every two weeks, so your code willmake an immediate difference.

DUTIES:

Maintain the Flash and JavaScript/HTML5 media players
Write and maintain player plugins
Perform integrations with online service providers
Be a team member, not a cog

REQUIREMENTS:

1-3 years experience developing for the web
Object oriented and MVC programming
Very familiar with a higher-level language (Ruby, Perl, Python, Java, etc.; Ruby is our flavor of choice)
Very familiar with a common web framework (Rails, Django, Catalyst/Dancer/Mojolicious, etc.; We use and love Rails)
Experience with TDD/BDD/unit testing a'la RSpec
JavaScript
HTML5/CSS3
Very comfortable developing in a Linux environment
SVN and/or git
Open Source Positive

NICE TO HAVE:

Familiarity with PostgreSQL, SQL statements
Familiarity with MongoDB
Flash/Actionscript
