Director of Operations at The Clymb in Portland, OR

We’re seeking someone that can take our logistical and warehouse operations to the next level.

Responsibilities: 

• Owning the relationship with our 3PLs, inbound and outbound logistics 
• Driving cost reductions across all elements of our fulfillment, service improvements across all elements of our fulfillment and technical improvements in our Inventory & Warehouse Management Systems
• Managing a team of logistics personnel
• Evaluating new technologies & partners
• Providing clear communication to executive management
• Managing a P&L 

...and at the end of the day, making sure that all of our customers get the right stuff, quickly, and efficiently

Skills:

• The ideal candidate will have had 5+ years experience managing e-commerce fulfillment, including deep experience in at least 6 of the following areas: 

• E-commerce Fulfillment and Supply Chain
• Distribution Warehousing
• LTL & FTI Inbound Freight
• Outbound Shipping
• Management
• Facility & Equipment Maintenance
• Continuous Improvement Methodologies
• Safety And Accident Prevention
• Capacity Planning
• Inventory Control
• Quality Control
• Pick & Pack Optimization
