Technical Account Manager (JavaScript, HTML and CSS) at TellApart, Inc. in Bu...

About Us:

TellApart is creating a predictive customer analytics platform that will massively enhance online marketing. We are founded and run by Google veterans, and we are very well-funded by a top venture capital firm (Greylock Partners) and many of Silicon Valley's most prominent angel investors, including: Ron Conway, Reid Hoffman, Baseline Ventures, and Dick Costolo. We are already processing millions of transactions for our clients, and here your work will have the potential to affect the ecommerce experience for hundreds of millions of Internet users.

Responsibilities:

Here is what you’re going to be asked to do across a range of functional areas in the first 90 days, before your job will evolve and add additional responsibilities.

Technical Account Management

• You understand technology at an uncommonly deep level and can communicate difficult concepts simply. You can help explain new products to our clients or troubleshoot and efficiently triage issues before passing requests along to our engineering team.

* You understand how the web works - JavaScript, HTML, and the way pages interact are second nature to you.

• You are hyper organized and take great pleasure in repeatable processes that don’t break. As such you will initiate our accounts receivable process, developing great relationships with our early clients and keeping our revenue organized and received on time.

• You are analytically minded. Quick with your favorite tools for analysis, you think nothing of sifting through a retailer’s data to pull out and showcase key insights. You have built tools in the past to help track changes over time. Your presentations are clean, concise and thought provoking.

• You have a high degree of empathy and are proactive about soliciting online marketing goals from our clients and funneling that interest towards our technical product development.

• You have a natural ease about you, which is conducive to high quality customer service. You will help us recruit and train superior technical account managers over time to amplify our reputation as a great service-oriented vendor.

Technical Marketing/Sales

• Your key role in marketing will be to build significant relationships with our existing clients and leverage these strong relationships to help introduce our clients to new applications that we build.

• You will need to be an expert at the technical aspect of inside sales. As our prospects come in to our customer pipeline you must be able to handle introductory calls, technical integration questions, creative asset requests and other parts of our client on-ramping process. You will be measured on your ability to smoothly integrate and launch clients on our platform, all the while raising up important technical questions/concerns to the rest of the team.
