Slide was founded in 2005 by PayPal co-founder Max Levchin and is backed by Mayfield Fund, Blue Run Ventures, Khosla Ventures and Founders Fund.

The SuperPoke! Pets team are looking for a Junior Web Developer to help build features that delight the growing and passionate SPP community.

Requirements:

• B.S. in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• 0-3 years of industry experience, (We will consider fresh graduates with strong internships, co-op or open source contributions)
• Strong object oriented skills to design and implement complex object-oriented abstractions
• Healthy analytical and problem solving skills, with attention to detail
• A desire to learn, excel, and contribute as part of a team building a product that reaches hundreds of thousands of users daily

Candidates should have experience with at least one of these technologies, and be excited about potentially learning the others:

• Demonstrated skills in front-end web development, expertise in JavaScript/HTML/CSS, including familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, MochiKit, YUI, Dojo, etc.)
• Experience with Python or other object-oriented languages to develop backend and business logic
• Expertise in Actionscript, preferably AS 3
